SAN DIEGO (CN) – A federal jury on Tuesday convicted James Folsom of 26 felony counts for selling bogus “medical devices” he claims could cure AIDS, diabetes, stroke, ulcers and worms. He made more than $8 million by selling the “AstroPulse,” “Energy Wellness” gizmos, prosecutors said. Folsom, 68, of San Diego, committed six of the felonies while on pretrial release. He will be sentenced on May 11.
