2nd Circuit

EMPLOYMENT – The 2nd Circuit dismissed a police officer’s claim that he faced retaliation at work for speaking publicly about health concerns posed by underground storage tanks at the police precinct. The speech was not protected under the First Amendment because it did not address a matter of public concern, the court ruled.
