A break from The Calf’s Path

BROOKLYN — Reciting Sam Foss’s poem “The Calf’s Path,” a federal court in New York awarded more than $571,500 in fees, costs and other expenses after revising the district’s ranges for counsel’s hourly rates based on the average rate of inflation since 2012, and finding the requested hourly rates slightly excessive even after adjusting for inflation.
