Abortion in Arizona

PHOENIX — Arizona Attorney General Kris Mayes filed a motion with the Arizona Supreme Court requesting the high court to stay its mandate in Planned Parenthood v. Hazelrigg, which effectively implemented a near-total abortion ban, for 90 days. The attorney general’s office says it may ask the U.S. Supreme Court to review the Arizona Supreme Court’s decision.
