Airline escapes antisemitism suit

MANHATTAN — The airline Lufthansa prevailed over a passenger’s accusations that the airline crew woke him and made him disembark before the flight due to antisemitism, as he says he was “the only visibly religiously dressed Jewish passenger” and received dirty looks from flight attendants. The passenger’s discrimination allegations have no bearing on his Montreal Convention claims, and there is no dispute that the flight crew made him disembark because he was unconscious and unresponsive in his seat.
