ANCHORAGE (CN) – A member of the Tanana tribe claims the U.S. Bureau of Land Management allowed Alyeska Pipeline Service Co. and the State of Alaska to trespass on his 110-acre allotment, remove “hundreds of thousands of yards of gravel” from it, destroyed trees and vegetation, and barred him from his own land. The Native Village of Tanana is smack dab in the middle of Alaska. William Carlo Jachetta is represented in Federal Court by Samuel Fortier with Fortier and Mikko.
