Arnold Palmer, 87

(CN) – Arnold Palmer, who popularized golf in the 1960s, brought pro golfers million-dollar paydays, and cracked the whip on younger players behind the scenes to uphold the dignity of the PGA, died Sunday in a Pittsburgh hospital. He was 87.
