Asylum Seeker's Story |Is Credible, Court Rules

NEW YORK (CN) – The **2nd Circuit reversed a Board of Immigration Appeals finding that asylum seeker Souleymane Niang had submitted false identity documents and that conditions in his native Mauritania had improved. The court ruled that Niang gave “credible and compelling” testimony about the persecution he suffered based on his Fulani ethnicity. See ruling.
