Avocado War Goes To Federal Court

SACRAMENTO (CN) – The Asociacion De Productores, Empacadores Y Exportadores De Aguacate De Michoacan claims the California Avocado Commission has defamed it to the media and the public since California began allowing Mexican avocado imports in February 2007.      The Michoacan avocado producers demand damages for trade libel, and injunctive relief in Federal Court.
