Belligerent cop pulled over school bus

BOSTON — The city of Brockton, Massachusetts, and a police officer were unable to dismiss a lawsuit brought by a Black minor and his mother after the cop pulled over the school bus the boy was riding in because he threw a plastic cup out of a window. The officer said whoever threw the cup was a “P-U-S-S-Y” and that he’d meet them on the streets one day, then tried to grab the boy’s phone, pulled his hair and challenged him to a fight. “It is not clear that [the agents] would be able to assert qualified immunity regarding that claim.”
