LOS ANGELES – A boy in the “botnet underground” pleaded guilty Monday to juvenile delinquency: secretly hacking into thousands of computers, including military computers, to install adware on them, then charging the Internet ad companies for it. The boy, identified only as BDH, admitted running the scan with Jeanson James Ancheta, who is serving federal time for it. They infected computers of the Defense Information Security Agency, and BDH claims they infected computers as Sandia National Laboratories too.
