BELLEVILLE, Ill. – **Wyndham Sugar Bay Resort and **The Ocean Club Gaming Center cheated a vacationer who hit a $5.15 million slot machine jackpot, Alvin Paulson claims in St. Clair County Court. Paulson claims that after he won the prize on a $20 slot on March 1, 2007, an employee turned off the machine while it was still adding up the credits, then a manager claimed there was “some mysterious ‘malfunction’ or ‘technical problem’” and refused to pay up. Paulson demands the $5.15 million and the $16.50 that remained on the machine.
