NEW ORLEANS — The Fifth Circuit denied Sanderson Farms’ petition for a review of a decision that found its chicken processing plant in Waco, Texas, did not comply with all of the Occupational Safety and Health Administration’s standards for safely managing highly hazardous chemicals. The plant uses more than 10,000 pounds of ammonia.
