Chinese Herbs Ruined Kidneys, Woman Says

CHICAGO (CN) – A woman claims she suffered kidney failure requiring a transplant because she took Chinese herbs recommended by her chiropractor and “master herbalist” Zhengang Guo, and supplied by Guo’s companies, Life Rising, Ton Shen Health and Nature’s Health.     Delores Drury claims that after 3½ years of treatment from Guo and chiropractor Patrick Kennedy, “she was diagnosed with ‘Chinese herb nephropathy,’ kidney disease, and renal failure.”
