MANHATTAN (CN) – Chrysler filed for bankruptcy Thursday, after President Obama publicly blasted a group of its creditors who refused a government offer to settle its debts for about 33 cents on the dollar. Chrysler is expected to combine with Fiat if it emerges from bankruptcy – which President Obama said he expects will be a quick process, though some analysts were not so sure.
