Cop cover-up

BATON ROUGE, La. (CN) — A federal judge in Louisiana refuses to dismiss the emotional distress claims brought by a mother who says police lied about killing her son, whose bullet-pocked body was found in a doorless bedroom closet only after cops searched their small house for a second time. “Even considering the heightened pleading requirements” of a claim for intentional infliction of emotional distress, the family “easily” established fraudulent motive on the part of the police, who “suppressed the truth about that murder … to escape liability.”
