Court Limits Class Action Over TJ Maxx Disclosure

SANTA ANA, Calif. (CN) – A California appeals court refused to extend the one-year statute of limitations on a class action accusing discount retailer TJ Maxx of requiring customers who use credit cards to provide personal identification information in violation of the Song-Beverly Credit Card Act.
