Court Vacates $6 Million Amway Arbitration Win

NEW ORLEANS (CN) – The **5th Circuit vacated a $6 million arbitration award granted to Amway in a 10-year legal battle with low-level distributors, who took issue with the company’s pyramid profit scheme. Distributors successfully fought to have the award dismissed, arguing that Amway had inserted the arbitration clause after they filed suit in 1997.
