A federal court in California dismissed passengers’ emotional distress suit against Princess Cruise Lines in a case arising from the Covid-19 outbreak on the Grand Princess ship they were quarantined on. Given the prevalence of the virus, a finding in their favor would “lead to a flood of trivial suits.”
