Defaming Trevor Bauer

MANHATTAN — Professional baseball pitcher Trevor Bauer claims in a federal complaint that the sports news website Deadspin defamed him by reporting that he had fractured the skull of a woman who also accused him of sexual assault. The article came out after other outlets corrected their initial reporting based on "medical records ... conclusively showing no skull fracture."
