Dialysis Centers Sue Blue Cross Of Georgia

ATLANTA (CN) – The **National Renal Alliance claims Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Georgia , the state’s largest health insurer, violates federal law by preventing dialysis patients from using out-of-network providers for their life-sustaining care.  Dozens of dialysis centers also claim that “Blue Cross has targeted the dialysis industry for a drastic and unprecedented slash in reimbursement to a mere 12% of usual and customary charges.” See federal complaint.
