Volkswagen asked a federal judge Friday to approve a <strong><a href="http://www.courthousenews.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/08/VWDieselgate-SETTLEMENT.pdf">$96.5 million settlement</a></strong> to resolve claims its diesel vehicles emitted more emissions and had lower fuel economy than advertised.

SAN FRANCISCO – Volkswagen asked a federal judge Friday to approve a $96.5 million settlement to resolve claims its diesel vehicles emitted more emissions and had lower fuel economy than advertised.

At least 100,000 owners and lessees of diesel VW and Audi vehicles will receive $518.40 to $2,332.80.
