MADISON, Wis. — A federal court in Wisconsin ruled that, even though Taylor County Sheriff’s Department employees violated a man’s Fourth Amendment rights by searching his Dropbox account without a warrant, they are entitled qualified immunity because the law wasn’t clear that defendants “needed a warrant under the circumstances of the case.”
