Drug costs

NEW YORK — The Second Circuit ruled that Pfizer’s plan to cover co-pay costs of a very expensive drug, tafamidis, used to treat a rare heart condition called transthyretin amyloid cardiomyopathy, violates the federal Anti-Kickback Statute.
