SAN DIEGO — A class action claims CVS Pharmacy illegally forces customers with a prescription for an opioid “to simultaneously purchase a prescribed medication, Naloxone or similar drug, designed to rapidly reverse an opioid overdose … [which] can cost more than 50 times the actual opioid pain relief prescription,” in San Diego Superior Court.
