AUSTIN, Texas — An appeals court in Texas conditionally granted Texas Congressional candidate Wendy Davis, Senate candidate M.J. Hegar and a Railroad Commission candidate a writ of mandamus ordering the Green Party of Texas to declare three of its party’s candidates ineligible to appear on the general election ballot. The Green Party candidates have not paid a filing fee required by Texas Election Code.
