Correctional Healthcare Management of Oklahoma fired a nursing director for truthfully testifying to a federal grand jury that an inmate had been “beaten to death by detention officers,” at the Oklahoma County Detention Center, she claims in Oklahoma County Court, Oklahoma City.     Class-action complaints alleging Labor Code violations have been filed against these defendants: Pacific Bell Telephone, and Access Nurses, in San Diego Superior Court;      Western Digital Corp., in Orange County Court, Calif.; Pacific Sunwear of California, in Sacramento Superior Court; Comcast, in Cook County Court; Cox Auto Trader, in Milwaukee Federal Court; Corbel Installations, in Manhattan Federal Court; Value Depot Stores, in Brooklyn Federal Court; and Kowai Inc., in Trenton, N.J., Federal Court.      (Companies not separated by commas are defendants in the same case.)
