Employment Ten black and Hispanic employees claim Sodexo, HealthOne of Denver and Sky Ridge Medical Center discriminated against them and harassed them with vile epithets and retaliated when they complained, in Denver Federal Court. Class-action complaints alleging Labor Code violations have been filed against these defendants: Barnes & Noble Booksellers, in Alameda County Court, Oakland; R+L Carriers, in San Francisco Federal Court; Del Rio West Pallet Co., in Sacramento Federal Court; Novamed, in Chicago Federal Court; The Healthy Eatery, in Central Islip, N.Y., Federal Court; and Schooner Petroleum Services, Oil States International and Specialty Rental Tools and Supply, for a mass layoff, in a single complaint in Houston Federal Court.
