An employee says Home Depot did not carry workers’ comp insurance when a stack of generators crushed her and broke her spine, so she demands damages from the company for medical care, lost wages and pain and suffering, in Williamson County Court, Texas.           Class-action complaints alleging Labor Code violations have been filed against these defendants: Time Warner Cable, in Orange County Court, Calif.; Starbucks, in Los Angeles Federal Court; All West Iron, in Los Angeles Superior Court; Globe Newspaper Co., in a complaint about vacation pay for trainees, subs and retirees, Boston Federal Court; Delia’s, in Austin Federal Court; Land South Adventures LLC dba Cypress Gardens, in Tampa Federal Court; and Service Tech Corp., in Cuyahoga County Court, Cleveland.
