Equal Protection

<p>A federal court in Wisconsin <strong><a href="http://www.courthousenews.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/04/equalprotectionclaims.pdf">ruled</a></strong> that two black pastors may pursue their equal protection claims against two sheriff’s deputies who asked them if they had guns or drugs in their car while they were legally parked on the side of a highway while waiting for a tow truck after their boat trailer got a flat tire. The pastors have adequately alleged that they were intentionally discriminated against and treated differently than a similarly situated white woman. </p>
