LUXEMBOURG – The European Court of Justice ruled that only Parmesan cheese made in Italy can use the “Parmesan” appellation, and that Germany may not use the term for imitation versions of the crumbly cheese. The ruling mirrors a 2005 decision that feta can only come from Greece.
