A federal judge Monday <strong><a href="http://www.courthousenews.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/12/Federal-Air.pdf">granted final approval</a></strong> of a settlement of an age-discrimination <strong><a href="https://www.courthousenews.com/tsa-agents-age-discrimination-claims-advance/">class action</a></strong> against the Department of Homeland Security and its Federal Air Marshal Service; each class member will get <strong><a href="https://www.courthousenews.com/judge-rejects-age-bias-settlement-between-tsa-air-marshals/">$1,500</a></strong> and the government must pay $425,000 in attorney’s fees.</p>

SAN FRANCISCO — A federal judge **granted final approval Monday of a settlement of an age-discrimination **class action against the Department of Homeland Security and its Federal Air Marshal Service; each class member will get $1,500 and the government must pay $425,000 in attorney’s fees.
