Federal Judge Fishes For Puns In Seafood Ruling

SAN FRANCISCO (CN) – U.S. District Judge William Alsup enjoined Kevin Vu from calling his restaurant The Boiling Crab, after Sinhdarella Inc. ‘s Cajun-style seafood joints of the same name in California. Vu’s claim that he copied the name from a restaurant in Ho Chi Minh City “seems tangled in a net of fishy contradictions,” Alsup wrote. “Truth is, defendant has been trying to muscle in on plaintiff’s hard-won success.”
