Fresno State settlement approaches

FRESNO, Calif. — A federal court in California accepted the magistrate’s recommendation to preliminarily approve a settlement in the lawsuit between female student athletes and Fresno State, which they accuse of treating the women’s lacrosse team worse in terms of opportunities and financial aid than other teams.
