COLUMBUS, OHIO (CN) – The “Animal Fighting Prohibition Enforcement Act” of 2007 unconstitutionally restricts the trade and speech of “gamefowl” breeders and fans, and is unconstitutionally vague, six gamefowl enthusiasts claim in Federal Court. They also claim that S.B. 261, an emendation of the Animal Welfare Act, contains misleading and false statements about cockfighting paraphernalia; they want it enjoined.
