(CN) – George Zimmerman was arrested Friday night in Florida and charged with aggravated assault, police in Lake Mary, Fla. announced. Zimmerman, who was acquitted two years ago in the fatal shooting of Trayvon Martin, an unarmed black teenager, was charged with aggravated assault for allegedly throwing a wine bottle at a woman at his home earlier in the week. On Saturday morning, a Seminole County judge set bond for Mr. Zimmerman at $5,000 and ordered him to have no contact with the woman, who has not been identified in court. Zimmerman was also ordered to surrender any firearms he may possess by January 13. according to the police, Zimmerman posted bond and was released from jail Saturday afternoon. He is next expected in court on the charge on Feb. 17.
