SAN FRANCISCO (CN) – The Gray Panthers claim California denies dental and mental health services to old folks though the state accepted stimulus money and so is required to maintain its Medicaid program as it existed on July 1, 2008, before the state’s “optional services” rule took effect. The Gray Panthers are represented by Lynn Carman with the Medicaid Defense Fund of Novato, Calif.
