WASHINGTON (CN) – Thirty-seven states have not submitted plans for improving visibility in national parks and wilderness areas as required by the Clean Air Act. The plans were due a year ago, and the EPA has notified the states that they have two years to complete plans or the agency will implement a federal plan.
