WILMINGTON, Del. (CN) – Saying, “This is not North Korea,” Carl Icahn’s slate of nominees objected when the Biogen Idec board adjourned a shareholders meeting on Wednesday, trying to fight off Icahn’s attempt to place four members on the board. Icahn Partners sued Biogen in Chancery Court Wednesday, anticipating just such an event. The meeting resumed later in the day and Icahn claimed he had won two seats, but the company had not confirmed that by late Thursday morning.
