Indy 500 Winner Charged With Tax Evasion

MIAMI (CN) – Two-time Indianapolis 500 winner Helio Castroneves was charged today with six counts of evading federal taxes, from 1999-2004. Castroneves’ sister and attorney also were charged, the U.S. Attorney’s Office said.     Helio Castroneves, 33, is a U.S. resident. Also charged were Katiucia Castroneves, 35, of Miami, who is her brother’s business manager, and the racecar driver’s attorney, Alan R. Miller, 71, of Michigan.
