ALBUQUERQUE — A former jail worker sued Bernalillo County, N.M., and its detention center in Superior Court, claiming she was fired the day after she reported to the deputy chief of the jail that she heard two other officers bragging about choking an inmate to death, an event she saw on surveillance video.
