Kill Switch

<span style="font-weight: 400;">A man who was injured when he fell from a boat and was caught in the engine blades as the vessel circled around him may pursue his failure-to-warn claim against boat and engine manufacturers, the Utah Court of Appeals <a href="http://www.courthousenews.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/02/killswitch.pdf"><strong>ruled</strong></a>, finding that a jury must determine if the man knew that wearing a “kill switch” could avoid such an accident. </span>

SALT LAKE CITY – A man who was injured when he fell from a boat and was caught in the engine blades as the vessel circled around him may pursue his failure-to-warn claim against boat and engine manufacturers, the Utah Court of Appeals ruled , finding that a jury must determine if the man knew that wearing a “kill switch” could avoid such an accident.
