Man Sues Chicago After 26 Years In Prison

CHICAGO (CN) – **Jerry Miller , who was released from prison in March 2006 after 26 years and had his conviction expunged after he was cleared of rape by DNA evidence, sued the City of Chicago in Federal Court, claiming Chicago cops fabricated evidence, withheld evidence and used other illegal practices to convict him and violate his rights.      Miller also sued Detective Gerald Mahon, Detective Thomas Stevens, Detective Thomas Whalen, Detective P. Mannion, Officer Kenneth Fligelman, Officer Darryl Depke, Raymond Lenz, crime laboratory microanalyst, and Thomas Krupowicz. He is represented by John Stainthorp.
