SACRAMENTO (CN) – A U.S. Marine Corps recruiter “regularly” took a Lincoln High School junior off campus to “ply her with alcoholic beverages and engage in sexual relations with her,” the girl’s parents claim in Superior Court. They sued the Western Placer Unified School District for negligence and distress. The Doe plaintiffs say Marine Sgt. Victor Sanchez-Millan groomed the girl by lavishing attention on her after meeting her at a job fair on the high school campus, romanced her on the Internet and sexually preyed upon her. The Does did not sue Sanchez or the Marines in this complaint. They are represented by James Sweeney of Elk Grove.
