Menominees Sue Feds In Quest For Casino

GREEN BAY, Wisc. (CN) – The Menominee Tribe, one of the poorest in the country, claims the Interior Department has changed the rules to defeat its 6-year struggle to build a casino in Kenosha.     The Menominees, who say they are the 4th poorest tribe in the United States, say they applied for their casino permits in 2004 and the government plans to deny the permits based on two new, and illegal, rules.     The tribe is represented by Rory Dilweg with Holland & Knight of Los Angeles.
