Merrill Lynch Plays Dirty, Fired Worker Says

CLEVELAND (CN) – When a top-earning, 63-year-old employee refused Merrill Lynch’s pressure to retire so it could replace him with younger workers who would earn smaller commissions, Merrill Lynch filed a phony criminal complaint against him to force his retirement, Louis Telerico claims in Federal Court.     Telerico demands lost wages and punitive damages for age discrimination, tortious interference, unfair competition.
