N.J. Supreme Court

ATTORNEYS – The New Jersey Bar Association sought review of the opinion of the Advisory Committee on Professional Ethics about the ethics of a fraudulent real-estate transaction involving attorneys. Per curiam, the New Jersey Supreme Court found that the opinion provides that the transaction violates the rules of professional conduct, but does not infer that disclosed seller’s concessions are, in and of themselves, fraudulent or unethical.
