Ninth Circuit clears FAA approval of Amazon airport facility

SAN FRANCISCO — The Ninth Circuit amended its previous opinion, which denied a petition for review challenging the Federal Aviation Administration’s Record of Decision, which found no significant environmental impact stemming from an Amazon air cargo facility at the San Bernardino International Airport. Over objections brought by California and an environmental group, the Ninth Circuit found the FAA’s environmental assessment was adequate.
