Old Patriots player kicked out

BOSTON — Massachusetts’ high court affirmed the dismissal of former New England Patriots player Bobby Leo’s lawsuit according to which the Patriots’ alumni club inflicted emotional distress on him, defamed him and committed elder abuse when it revoked his membership and banned him from future membership. The former player could not show a high-enough degree of harm or distress to support these claims.
