'On-Air Therapist's' Libel Complaint Booted

LOS ANGELES (CN) – A federal judge has dismissed with prejudice **Lynn Ianni ‘s complaint that Courtroom TV Network, The Smoking Gun, Viacom, MTV and others libeled her by saying she got her PhD at a “diploma mill.” Ianni, who appeared as an “on-air therapist” for Fox TV’s show, “The Swan,” a “make-over show … (for) so-called ‘ugly duckling’ women,” got her PhD from California Coast University.
